Victoria Miller, LMHCA

I (Victoria Miller) am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (MC # 61241303). I am also recognized as a Nationally Certified Counselor. I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in February 2022,  with an additional specialization in Forensic Counseling   Prior to this, I received a BA in Psychology from Eastern Washington University in 2018.

My goal is to be the person to walk alongside you in your journey. Within that journey, the hope is to work on developing tools to ease anxiety, increase self-esteem, and help recognize the goals that you come to therapy with. I have worked for other community organizations whose mission was to help individuals define goals, refine personal resources, and recognize their inner strengths, and I look to continue that mission within our time together.

Along with anxiety and depression, I work to aid those who present with post-traumatic stress disorder, negative self-image, stress management, teen to adult ADHD, and extensive trauma. I have also taken courses that allow me to address issues regarding experiences in foster care, juvenile detention, and adult incarceration. While these are the areas I’m working to refine my specialty in, the time in sessions is yours to guide as I am here to address most areas of distress and concern that have brought hardship to your mental health.

The therapeutic modalities that I primarily follow include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Feminist/Sytems Therapy.

In my free time, I love to cook/bake and watch movies with my partner and our cat, Neo. I also enjoy taking day trips to hike in the spring and summer and snowboarding in the winter.

I hope together we can help achieve the goals you have for therapy and instill a greater sense of self and hope for the future. If I may be the person to join you in this journey, please reach out to our office at (509)768-6852 or email us at info@charmedcounseling.com.
