Lindsey Schramm

MSW, LICSW

I (Lindsey Schramm) am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LW 60833263).

You’re here! This is great. Very excited to tell you how I work, to see if you’d be interested in meeting with me. The therapeutic relationship is the strongest indicator of success for folks utilizing therapy so it’s important that we are a good fit for each other, and collaborate, in order for you to get what you need out of the experience!

My education background looks like obtaining my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Studio Art in 2008 from Otterbein University. After working in the field for a few years, I chose to move out to Seattle to attend the University of Washington Masters in Social Work program, graduating in 2014, to experience life outside of Ohio where I grew up.

Now back in Ohio, serving Ohio and Washington clients, I am excited to serve as Charmed Counseling’s Clinical Director and Therapist serving folks across the lifespan! I enjoy working both in-person and telehealth providing folks flexibility in their care. When working with me I blend somatic care with other clinical interventions which means we might end up sitting on the floor, or doing small activities while we meet – even over telehealth.

My passions include coaching youth in their own growth and strategy practice, supporting folks through life changes, working with parents to bring a sense of communication, connection and calm into their lives. I also work with perinatal and postpartum caregivers in their mental health, wellness and empowerment so they can feel strong and ready to raise their children.

With humor, grace and evidence-based approaches I treat: trauma, stress management, depression, societal pressure, grief and loss, anxiety, sleep disruption, perinatal and postpartum depression and many other issues on the mental health spectrum.

Evidence-based approaches utilized:

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Gottman Theory
  • Short-Term Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT)
  • Strength-Based, Person-Centered Therapy (NeuroAffective Relational Model)
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
  • Mindful-Based Therapy
  • Art and Expressive Therapy

If you’re contemplating counseling for yourself, your child or your family feel free to contact me for a free 15 minute consultation call to see if we would be a good fit to work together. Send me questions at Lindsey@CharmedCounseling.com.
