Katie Morse
I (Katie Morse) am a counselor in training and a master’s student at Gonzaga University, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. I expect to graduate in May 2027.
I have a deep passion for supporting families, individuals, and couples as they navigate life’s challenges. I bring warmth, empathy, and a strong commitment to personal and professional growth. My approach centers on working collaboratively with you to create meaningful change, grounded in your values and the stories that shape your life. I am currently training in motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, and Adlerian therapy.
My diverse experiences—as a mother, military spouse, and cancer survivor—inform the way I show up in the therapy room. Starting this career later in life has given me a grounded, compassionate outlook, shaped by the many experiences that brought me here. My previous work in federal service strengthened my conflict resolution skills and deepened my appreciation for community-building and cultural sensitivity. Having lived in multiple countries, I value meeting people where they are and honoring diverse worldviews. I am driven by a desire to support you in meaningful ways and am dedicated to fostering healing, connection, and resilience.
I practice under the direct supervision of Jessica Weed, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH61380825). All consultations with my supervisor are confidential. I offer both in‑person and telehealth services.
Outside of my work, I enjoy exploring the beautiful world we live in.
