Julie Jaime
I (Julie Jaime) am a Charmed Counseling Intern currently completing my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Whitworth University, with an expected graduation date of May 2027. My approach to therapy is client-centered and grounded in a trauma-informed lens, meaning I prioritize your sense of safety, autonomy, and voice throughout the therapeutic process. I see therapy as a collaborative journey where we move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you.
I am deeply passionate about helping couples, families, and individuals grow in their own unique journeys toward a deeper connection with themselves and with one another. I believe that meaningful change begins with self-understanding—learning to listen to our emotions, recognize our patterns, and reconnect with the parts of ourselves that may have been shaped by past experiences or relationships. I draw from evidenced based practices like Emotionally Focused Therapy and The Gottman Method, as I am currently undergoing training in both practices. These trainings support my work in helping clients strengthen emotional connection, improve communication, and navigate relational challenges with greater understanding and care.
My work is focused on supporting clients as they explore who they are, what they need, and how they show up in daily life. Whether you are seeking greater emotional connection, navigating relational challenges, or working toward personal growth, my goal is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and respect. My role is to create a space where reflection, healing, and growth feel possible, empowering you to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and authenticity.
I work under the direct supervision of Jessica Weed, a licensed mental health counselor. (LH61380825). All consultations with my supervisor are confidential. I offer services via both in-person and telehealth and will accommodate whichever method best suits your needs. My interests include, but are not limited to family conflict and resolution, resentment, trauma, anxiety, depression, racial identity formation, and life transitions.
If my approach sounds like a good fit for you, I’d love to connect! Please give our office a call at (509)768-6852 or email us at info@charmedcounseling.com to discuss more.
