I (Kate Reid) am a clinical social work intern at Charmed Counseling. I work under the supervision of Lindsey McIntyre, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LW 60833263). I received my bachelor’s degree in social work with a minor in global studies from Liberty University in 2024. Currently I am in my final year of my Clinical MSW program at Liberty University Online.

As a Clinical Social Work Intern at Charmed Counseling, I provide a dedicated space for adults and adolescents who feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Whether you are navigating past experiences or current stressors, I am here to help you move beyond survival mode and reconnect with your authentic self. My goal is to gently untangle how hardship has shaped your world—using individual counseling and expression through play to build a lasting sense of safety and resilience.

My approach is rooted in curiosity and growth. I utilize an eclectic style, incorporating CBT to navigate distressing thoughts and DBT to offer practical tools for emotional regulation. For those who find words difficult, I enjoy incorporating expression through play to foster healing naturally. I aim to walk alongside you as we build a toolkit for resilience and a path toward lasting ease.
