Madisynn Tofte
Intern
I (Madisynn Tofte) am a Charmed Counseling intern currently completing my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Whitworth University, with an expected graduation date of May 2026. I earned my B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Whitworth University in 2024. I am passionate about applying my educational background and clinical training to support individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and strengthen their relationships.
I approach the therapeutic process with empathy, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s unique story, recognizing that clients are the experts of their own experiences. Together, we can explore patterns, process emotions, and develop practical skills that support lasting change.
I draw on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Gottman to tailor the therapeutic process to each client’s needs. Whether you’re hoping to improve communication, manage stress, enhance emotional regulation, or invest in self-care, I am here to support your goals with compassion and collaboration.
I believe that the therapeutic process is a powerful space for growth, and I am committed to walking alongside my clients wherever they are in their journey to work toward greater well-being and resilience.
During my internship, I meet with a Clinical Supervisor weekly to continue my growth and development as a counselor. I work under the direct supervision of Jessica Weed, a licensed mental health counselor. (LH61380825). All consultations with my supervisor are confidential. I offer services via both in-person and telehealth and will accommodate whichever method best suits your needs. I look forward to working with you.
