Jenica Jett
Intern
I (Jenica Jett) am a Charmed Counseling intern. I am completing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University with an expected graduation date of May 2025. Prior to this, I received a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Idaho in 2006 and completed additional coursework from Eastern Washington University in trauma informed care. I have four years of experience as a Career Advisor where I helped adults of all ages find meaning and purpose in their lives. My previous experience in mental health includes working in inpatient psychiatric care for adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, and other various diagnoses. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and adults. I use different modalities to provide care depending on clients’ unique needs and have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I provide a compassionate, judgment-free, and safe space to navigate life’s difficulties together.
During my internship, I meet with a Clinical Supervisor weekly to continue my growth and development as a counselor. I work under the direct supervision of Jessica Weed, a licensed mental health counselor. (LH61380825). All consultations with my supervisor are confidential. I offer services via both in-person and telehealth and will accommodate whichever method best suits your needs. I look forward to working with you.
