I Diane Hopkins am a Licensed Independent clinical Social Worker (Lic # LW61007456) I received my Masters in Social work from Walla Walla University in August of 2015. Prior to this I was a substance use Counselor for fifteen years. I also attended Whitworth University for my bachelor’s degree in social services, and also attended Spokane Falls Community College for my studies in Substance Use. Overall, my counseling experience spans about seventeen years. I am also Certified as CFRC for working with our First Responders. Helping those who risk their lives to protect our community is very important to me. I feel Responders need the support of a person who can understand the challenges of the job.

I have recently retired my degree as a substance use professional but still love to utilize my knowledge with co-occurring symptoms with Depression, Anxiety and specialize in trauma work. Working with people recovering from dysfunctional relationships is also a passion of mine. I feel as a therapist that modeling healthy relationships is key in the therapeutic process. I love to work with adults to help the healing process no matter what we are recovering from in today’s world.

I am certified in EMDR and use relational healing with DBT and CBT along with Somatic Therapy and a few other techniques as well.
