Cody Mildebrandt, LMFTA
I (Cody Mildebrandt) am a Licensed Mental Health Thearapist Associate (MC61678725) in the State of Washington.I work primarily with adolescents, teenagers, and young adults who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of themselves—even when it’s hard to put those feelings into words. You or your child may be dealing with anxiety, stress, emotional ups and downs, school pressure, family conflict, or questions around identity and belonging. Many of the people I work with are sensitive or high-achieving and have learned to push through challenges rather than ask for support. My goal is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can feel understood, slow things down, and build skills that lead to greater confidence, resilience, and self-compassion.
In our work together, I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach. I integrate EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT/EFIT), and DBT-informed skills to help with emotional regulation, healing from past experiences, and managing daily stress more effectively. I tailor therapy to your unique needs and pace, with the goal of helping you feel calmer, more grounded, and more connected to yourself and others.
I know that starting therapy can feel awkward or intimidating, especially if you’re not sure what to say or what you need. You don’t have to have it all figured out. I work to create an environment that feels welcoming, respectful, and developmentally appropriate, where trust can grow and progress can happen step by step.
