Brieann Knott

LMHCA

I (Brieann Knott) graduated with my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in February 2024. Prior to this, I received a BA in Psychology from the University of Washington in 2009. I was a first responder for eleven years and also have experience working for the 988 Suicide Hotline.

Throughout my previous careers, I have found a passion for helping teens and adults who have experienced trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief, and depression. Counseling may help heal past trauma, relieve emotional distress, and enhance well-being. As a counselor, I strive to provide a nonjudgmental and client-centered environment where we can collaborate on how to navigate life’s challenges. I use different modalities to meet individual client needs and primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

I meet with a Clinical Supervisor weekly to continue my growth and development as a counselor. I work under the direct supervision of Lindsey McIntyre, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. (LW60833263). All consultations with my supervisor are confidential. I offer services via both in-person and telehealth and will accommodate whichever method best suits your needs. I look forward to working with you.
