Anna Christianson
INTERN
I (Anna Christianson) am a Charmed Counselor in training. I currently attend Gonzaga
University, working toward my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an expected
graduation date of May 2026. I received my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Dallas in
May of 2023.
Through my education and life experiences, I have gained confidence in the power of
relationships, our need for connection, and the value of counseling. Above all, I am grateful for
the privilege of working in the vulnerable space of each person’s journey to wellness and am
committed to ensuring that counseling works for you and your needs.
As a counselor in training, I adopt a collaborative approach that empowers clients to embrace
their story, gaining freedom amidst life’s challenges. I strive to create an environment grounded
in a deep respect for each person, their realities, and their subjective experiences. I prioritize both
the safety of the counseling space and the application of empirically supported treatments as
essential for meaningful change for every client.
My counseling education has compelled me to tailor my theoretical approach specifically to each
client and their needs. That said, my theoretical perspective is informed by evidence-based
practices such as Person-Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy
(DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I also have training in Exposure Therapy for anxiety
disorders, including obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
I work under the direct supervision of Jessica Weed, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor
(LH61380825). All consultations with my supervisor are confidential. I offer both in-person and
telehealth services to clients.
