Jordan Smith
Intern
I (Jordan Smith) am a Charmed Counseling intern. I am completing my master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University with an expected graduation date of February 2025. Prior to this, I received a B.A. in Psychology from Whitworth University in 2020. My previous experience in mental health includes working in inpatient psychiatric care at Inland Northwest Behavioral Health working with individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. Following my time at INBH I worked at an outpatient psychiatric clinic that specializes in medication management, TMS, and psychotherapy. I am passionate about working with adolescents and adults.
I use different modalities to provide care depending on clients’ unique needs and have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I plan to continue my education and training in other modalities such as IFS, Motivational Interviewing, and Polyvagal theory to enhance my therapeutic toolbox. I strive to provide a compassionate, judgment-free, and safe space to navigate any and all of life’s challenges.
During my internship, I meet with a Clinical Supervisor weekly to continue my growth and development as a counselor. I work under the direct supervision of Jessica Weed, a licensed mental health counselor. (LH61380825). All consultations with my supervisor are confidential. I offer services via both in-person and telehealth and will accommodate whichever method best suits your needs. I look forward to working with you.
