I (Lindsey McIntyre) am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LW 60833263).
With 15 years of experience in the mental health field, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Masters in Social Work I am ready to support you!
Since 2005 I have worked in the mental health field with youth and families. After obtaining my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Studio Art in 2008 from Otterbein University in Ohio, where I am from, I knew I wanted to further my career supporting people. I came to Seattle to attend the University of Washington Masters in Social Work program, graduating in 2014.
I am excited to join Charmed Counseling to serve children, adolescents, parents and families. It is my passion to: coach children and adolescents in their own healing and skill building, support adolescents through mental health spectrums, do couples work with parents to strengthen the foundation of families, and work with families as a whole to bring a sense of communication, connection and calm into their lives. I also work with perinatal and postpartum mothers in their mental health, wellness and empowerment so they can feel strong and ready to raise healthy children.
With humor, grace and evidence-based approaches I treat: trauma, stress management, depression, societal pressure, grief and loss, anxiety, sleep disruption, perinatal and postpartum depression and many other issues on the mental health spectrum.
